I made this work, but the basic idea originated with Jenny's partner (and my housemate) Tony. The rope is Twisted Monk's Electro-Jute. Honestly, when I first heard about it I thought "Meh, gimmic, no practical use," but this definitely proves that's not true. The conductive rope joins the metal bars, and tying in a contact pad from a neon wand or violet wand means that any time she touches the bars or the rope, she gets an intense but fairly safe shock.
